The Opportunity

This is a key role in shaping the future of OH&S within Rotork UK Leeds. To establish a zero-accident safety culture and lead initiatives, to ensure the continuous improvement of the OH&S management system and its performance.

Reporting directly to the QHS Manager, this autonomous role is essential to updating and modernising the OH&S systems, aiding Rotork in achieving its key strategic objectives. There is full support from local and global leadership to achieve these objectives within OH&S.

In this role you will ensure that OH&S is compliant with applicable legislation, Rotork standards and ISO45001. You will also provide support with compliance to ISO50001. Overall, you will help modernise the OH&S management system and shape the future of HS within the business moving forwards.

Experience Requirements:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or above
• Experience in OH&S Management
• Good working knowledge of UK legislation
• Proven ability in the assessment and upgrade of ISO45001/ISO9001 systems and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving techniques – CAPA, 8D, 5 Whys

The Successful Candidate Will Be Someone Who:

• Has ability to influence workers at all levels and built positive working relationships necessary to drive improvement
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders at any level
• Methodical attention detailed.
• Self-starter able to work without supervision
