Shane
Test Automation Engineer, UK
“Rotork believes in its people to help provide world-class technologies and services to its customers.”
I joined Rotork as an apprentice when I was 17 years old and have worked at the Bath site for over 10 years. Since working at Rotork I have grown in confidence and thanks to the apprenticeship I now have a great deal of knowledge in both mechanical and electrical engineering. It has enabled me to become a valued member of the test and development team.
My current role is a Test Automation Engineer, designing and maintaining automated testing solutions for both our current and our new products. This job requires the skills and knowledge that I learnt during the four years as an apprentice.
The benefits provided by Rotork are great and the work I do is always interesting and challenging. The company is very supportive of personal development and encourages you to continue learning to allow you to progress in your career.
